Resmaa Menakem has had 30 years of experience as a trauma specialist including two which were spent in Afghanistan. As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, he has worked with attacks in Afgahnistan; veterans and post traumatic stress disorder; women, children and men with trauma; and clients experiencing the impacts of historical trauma.
Resmaa made a highly thought provoking presentation as he addressed the IAFL lawyer delegates as first responders to their clients' trauma.
