Fellow Barbara Mills KC elected Chair of the Bar Council of England and Wales

Many congratulations to Fellow, Barbara Mills KC, from England and Wales, who has taken over as Chair of the Bar Council of England and Wales. The Bar Council is the regulator of the the barrister profession in England and Wales and lead, represent and support the Bar in the public interest, championing the rule of law and access to justice. The Bar Council has nearly 18,000 members who practise in all areas of law. Barbara is the first specialist family practitioner in the role of Chair of the Bar since Sir Robert Johnson in 1988.
