IAML Student Internship Report

By Anna Reynolds
IAML recently hosted the fourth pair of winners of our University of Cambridge Travel Studentship scheme which aims to encourage talented young law students to consider a career in international family law.
David Salter wishes to thank on behalf of IAML Ian Kennedy and Sandra Hacker for the hospitality they extended to Anna Reynolds, whose report is below. David comments that perhaps Anna’s most significant overall comment was in her covering email to him:
“I had thought before that maybe I would just settle for a career in commercial law as that is what everyone else tends to do, but I now have the confidence to pursue my interest in a career in family law, having enjoyed the work I undertook on the Studentship so much.”.
This is what the Travel Studentships are all about.
