IAML Meetings - Come One, Come All

Every year, the IAML schedules three meetings. The Annual Meeting of the Fellows is always in September. This year's meeting will be held in Jerusalem from September 10 - 14, 2014. In addition, the European Chapter Meeting and the USA and Canadian Chapter Meeting are held in the spring. This year, the European Chapter Meeting will be held in Bordeaux, France, from March 19 - 24, 2014, and the USA and Canadian Chapter Meeting will be held in New York from May 28 - June 1.
All three meetings are open to all Fellows. We have heard from some who thought that only Europeans could attend the European Chapter Meeting, and only those Fellows from the USA and Canada could attend the USA and Canadian Chapter Meeting.
Not true! Everyone is welcome to attend all of the IAML meetings, and we hope that you will consider attending as many meetings as you can. We often say that the best part of this organization is the people, and the camaraderie that results from getting together and sharing experiences. We have gone to great lengths to make everyone feel welcome. Those attending their first meetings are matched with another Fellow to assure that they are introduced and welcomed into the fold. The first-timers' dinner, which is generally limited to those attending their first meeting, provides a fabulous opportunity to meet other Fellows from all over the world in a comfortable setting.
I encourage you to mark your calendars for all three meetings, and come to as many of them as you can. The CLE's are always first-rate, and the venues that have been chosen for this year's meetings will provide wonderful opportunities to explore with friends.
