Congratulations for Carefree

The USA and Canadian Chapter Meeting, which was held in Carefree, Arizona last week, was a huge success. Many thanks to Nancy Berg who presented the Hague forum the day before the meeting began. Sylvia Goldschmidt, President of the USA Chapter selected a perfect venue for us - the Boulders Resort.
The Wednesday evening Welcome Reception was the perfect opportunity to visit with old friends and to meet new Fellows. Mia Reich-Sjogren and her committee assured that those attending their first meeting felt welcome. Jorge Cestero, the CLE Chair for the meeting, provided us with first-class sessions on interesting topics. Our speakers were excellent, and we are so grateful to them for giving so graciously of their time and expertise.
As the weather warmed, and the temperatures rose, so did the fun and frolic. Sylvia scheduled interesting activities, dine-arounds, a Bar-B-Que at the Buffalo Chip Saloon, where we line danced and enjoyed each other’s company. The dinner, at the Musical Instrument Museum was a perfect ending to the meeting (unless you chose to extend one more day and journey to Sedona or ride in a hot air balloon). The very best thing, as with all of our meetings, was the collegiality of the IAML! We are looking forward to seeing many of you in Salzburg in May.
