Appointment of Justice Berman

One of our Australian Fellows, David Berman SC, was appointed by the Federal Government as a Justice of the Family Court of Australia, effective as from 18 July 2013. His Honour has been one of leading family law advocates in South Australia for some years, and his appointment has been very warmly welcomed by the profession. His Honour replaces another Fellow, The honourable Rod Burr AM who retired in May 2012.
