IAML South African Travel Studentship

I am pleased to confirm that the South African Travel Studentship is now in place in conjunction with the University of Cape Town. The initial funding is intended to enable one award holder per year to travel to a jurisdiction of their choice to undertake work experience in the office of an Academy Fellow with a view to promoting the underlying aim of the studentships of ensuring that the best possible young lawyers are encouraged to pursue family law as a career. It is intended that preference will be given to applicants from an underprivileged background. It is envisaged that the successful student for 2012 will be announced in mid-September.
