IAML President's Blog

In an effort to keep in touch with the membership, I am starting this Blog, which I hope will keep you all informed of upcoming events and general information about the IAML.
I first want to thank Marlene Moses and the Website Committee, which she chairs, for all of their hard work in updating our site. We hope that you will find it to be much more user-friendly and informative. Thanks also to our fabulous Executive Director, Donna Goddard, whose insight and advice made the evolution of this site possible.
Because we all benefit from the collegiality of our organization, I want this first Blog to encourage everyone to attend the IAML meetings. All of the information is on the IAML website at www.iaml.org/events. The USA/Canadian Chapter Meeting will take place in Carefree, Arizona from February 13 – 17, 2013. The European Chapter Meeting, from May 22 – 26, 2013 will be held in Salzburg, Austria, and the 2013 Annual Meeting is scheduled for September 18 – 22, 2013 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Check it out, mark your calendar, and plan to join us!
If you are new to the IAML, or have not attended a meeting before, I assure you that we are a friendly and welcoming group. The venues are all spectacular and the CLE’s are fabulous!
