Profile

Saskia advises and litigates mainly in complex (international) divorce and divorce-related cases, such as child protection cases, parentage matters and disputes regarding custody involving children in need. Saskia finds it important to invest in a good relationship with her clients to be able to determine the right strategy together and achieve an optimal result. Her motivation is to find practical and sustainable solutions in the most efficient way possible.

Saskia also assists clients in the role of mediator. She fully qualifies as a vFAS divorce mediator (the Dutch Association of Family Lawyers and Divorce Mediators). Between 2017-2022 Saskia was member of the board of the Dutch Association of Family Lawyers and Divorce Mediators (vFAS) and of the Institute for Mediation and Family Education (IMFO), the educational institute of vFAS. Currently Saskia is on the editorial board of several legal professional journals. She regularly writes annotations on court decisions and articles for well-known Dutch journals.
