Accredited Specialist – Family Law, Accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP), Accredited Family Law Arbitrator, Nationally Accredited Family Law Mediator and Public Notary. Maurice has expertise in International Family Law issues, representing clients in matters under the Hague Child Abduction Convention in the Family Court, the Full Court and the High Court of Australia. Maurice has presented a number of papers on the Hague Conventions that relate to children. He has also trained in Japan in the mediation of disputes relating to the Child Abduction Convention. He has a special interest in Binding Financial Agreements (BFA’s) and has presented papers on BFA’s in recent years. He has presented papers on Childhood Gender Dysphoria and appeared on television on this topic. Maurice was named in the Doyles Guide of Leading Family Law Mediators – NSW, 2019 and was a finalist for Australian Arbitrator of the Year in the Australasian Law Awards 2019.
