Laura is a partner in the Tucson law firm of Karp & Weiss. She is a certified family law specialist in the State of Arizona. She has been a Fellow in the AAML since 2003 and currently serves as a Vice President. She is the former National Treasurer of the AAML and has held officer positions in the Arizona Chapter. She co-authored the AAML’s Child Centered Residential Guidelines. She is a Diplomate in the American College of Family Trial Lawyers. She is a certified family law specialist in the State of Arizona and serves on the Arizona State Bar’s Family Law Executive Council. She is currently serving on the Supreme Court’s Child Support Guidelines Review Committee. She is a past-President of Arizona’s chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and remains an active member of that association. She writes and speaks on family law topics in Arizona and nationally. She is a mediator/arbitrator and Judge Pro Tempore in the State of Arizona.
