Profile

Kim was called to the Bar in 1986 and has acted as counsel in family law since her call. She has been motivated by access to justice issues which have been a pillar of her practice. While still a steadfast litigator, Kim undertook her first mediation course in 1995. Over de following years she became certified in mediation and in both family and civil arbitration (while also speaking on trial advocacy and procedure). In 2017 Kim graduated with a Master of Law Degree in Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. As of January 2024, Kim decided to no longer undertake any more private client retainers so she can focus and transition her practice to being solely focused on mediation, arbitration and consultation.
