Katelyn Skinner has been a practicing attorney since 2010 and is a partner at Buckley Law in Lake Oswego, Oregon where she leads a team of family law and probate litigation attorneys. Katelyn is versed in complex family law matters including divorce, custody disputes, modification issues, international disputes and international family law. Katelyn has handled international and interstate child custody cases and has represented numerous clients in matters involving child abduction, international custody, and the Hague Convention. She graduated from Willamette University College of Law, attended the Beasley School of Law at Temple University, Japan Campus, and majored in Japanese at the University of Oregon. She also attended Waseda University in Tokyo. She is an executive committee member of the International Law Section with the Oregon State Bar and a member of the Family Law Section. Katelyn has coordinated and taught CLEs on family law and international family law topics. She brings a global perspective having lived in Japan for many years engaging in multiple foreign exchange programs.
