Profile

Engaged in family law litigation; responsibilities include preparation, negotiation and carriage of actions under all legislation dealing with family and estates litigation at all levels of court in Ontario. Practice includes preparation and presentation of public programs summarizing various aspects of the practice of family law for a wide variety of organizations. Certified as a Specialist in Family Law by the LSUC. Editor of Halsbury's Laws of Canada, First Edition, Family section. Co-author of "Ontario Family Law Practice", 2002 to 2010, Steinberg Lenkinski James. Author of "A Practical Guide to the Family Law Act" (1986); has prepared and developed numerous articles and presentations for the CBA. Former seminar leader in the Family Law Section of the BAC and participant. Member of CBA-O Family Law Section Committee on the new Family Law Act, Member of Advocates Society and former Director of the Advocates Society and member of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Called to the Ontario Bar in 1975.
