Else-Marie has extensive experience in all areas of family law and is leader of the family law practice group at Langseth Lawfirm DA. She is listed on the Ministry of Justice and Public Security's list of lawyers with particular expertise and knowledge of child abduction. She is regularly engaged in providing continuing education courses for lawyers within her areas of expertise and is author of the Norwegian chapter in the "Blue Book" (Family Law: A Global Guide, Thomson Reuters 2024), the seminal comparative guide to international family law. Else-Marie served as the president of the Oslo Bar Association from 2018 to 2022 and has been elected as a member of the main board of the Norwegian Bar Association for the period 2022-2026.
