Adelaide Benneh Prempeh is a dual-qualified Barrister and Solicitor of Ghana, and England & Wales. She was initially called to the English Bar in 2001, undertook her pupillage at Renaissance Chambers, Gray’s Inn and practised as a tenant until 2012. Adelaide’s legal career extends over a decade in predominantly Child and Family law. She has been instructed in all aspects of practice including, International Child Adoption, Divorce and Matrimonial Finance, International Child Abduction and Custody, Public Law (Child Care) proceedings. Adelaide was called to the Ghana Bar in 2012 and has since set up B & P ASSOCIATES, a law firm in Accra. Due to her wealth of experience from both jurisdictions, she maintains a substantive Child and Family practice in Ghana, with a keen interest in International Child Adoption. Her professional memberships include, the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, the Ghana Bar Association and the International Bar Association.
