Born 1969. Graduated in Law from Oxford University 1990. Qualified as Solicitor of the Supreme Court at Macfarlanes in 1996. Solicitor at Withers LLP from 1997 (Partner since 2003 and Head of Family Law Team since 2008). Specialises in divorce and family law, in particular the financial repercussions of relationship formation and breakdown. Work frequently has an international perspective, often involving tax and trust implications, substantial assets or incomes, forum races and cross-border cases. Has a niche practice in negotiating domestic and international pre-nuptial and pre-civil partnership agreements. Handles private law disputes relating to children. Regularly appears on TV, radio and in the national / international /legal press as an expert about family law topics. Lectures on family law issues and is the author of the divorce chapter in Tolley’s Administration of Trusts and Estates. Has worked in America and studied in France.
